Pertti Palmroth shoe manufacturers produces and markets high-quality and fashionable ladies' sandals, shoes, boots and bags for the international market. The family company, initiated as Pirkkala shoe factory, was founded by Pertti Palmroth's father Pentti (1901-1968) in 1928. The trademarks were initially Fiore and Viva. The export activities, started in 1958, carried the new brand name Palmroth. Today the exports are directed to nearly 30 countries.
High quality and original styling are the strengths of the company. Palmroth has manufactured products to many world-known retailers including Christian Dior, Bally, Lord & Taylor and I. Miller. Pertti Palmroth has also designed footwear for air stewardesses employed at Braniff Airlines of the USA, KLM of Holland, SAS of Scandinavia and Finnair.

Products have been sold in prestigious shops and department stores around the world, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdale's of New York and Harrods and Harvey Nichols of London. Pertti Palmroth footwear has been chosen for numerous photographings in the international magazines Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Damernas Värld, Femina, Elegance and Burda. |

Pertti Palmroth has created collections carrying his name as designer (1952-) and as managing director (1970-). The collections have won several international and domestic prizes: e.g. in 1965 the “ Coupe Dór du Bon Gout Francais (Paris)”. Pertti Palmroth is an internationally valued brand - the exports account for 70 % of the production.
